NERC Essay Contest 2021 for Nigerian Secondary School Students. A pleasant opportunity has arisen for secondary school students in Nigeria. The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission has announced the date for the commencement of the 2021 NERC Essay Contest for SS2 students in the federation. This essay challenge is limited to SS2 students with awesome prices to be won as well as consolation prizes.

NERC uses this opportunity to reward creativity and diligence among secondary school students while also using the platform to encourage other students to be more studious and diligent. Interested applicants should see details of the essay challenge below.  NERC Essay Contest

 

NERC Essay Contest 2021 for Nigerian Secondary School Students

The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission is inviting interested Secondary School Students to submit entries. Interested SS2 students will be writing an essay of not less than 450 words and not more than 500 words, on the topic “Electricity Theft and its implications for the Nigerian Electricity Supply Industry (NESI)”.

Eligible Countries: Nigeria

Type: Essay

Number of Awards: Not specified

Value of Award: Fantastic prizes to be won by:

  • FIRST Position
  • SECOND Position
  • THIRD Position And lots of consolation prizes for other participants too!

  • Applicants must be Nigerians
  • Applicants must be secondary school students

Application Process: The essay can be submitted by email to electricitychallenge@nerc.gov.ng OR in an A4 envelop properly sealed and addressed as follows:

Remember!!
All submissions must contain the name of the student, FULL home and school addresses,

Entries must reach the above address on or before 5pm, 23rd August 2021. Any entry
submitted after the above stipulated time will be disqualified.
