The Nigeria Football Federation has expressed profound sadness and regret for the death of over 1,000 persons in an earthquake that struck Morocco’s High Atlas Mountains in the early hours of Saturday, September 9, 2023.
According to reports, over 1,000 people were confirmed killed, with hundreds more injured as a result of the magnitude 7.2 earthquake that devastated structures in the charming city of Marrakech. The earthquake was the deadliest in North Africa in six decades.JAMB Portal
