Nigeria records 35 fresh cases of COVID-19

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, has recorded 35 new COVID-19 cases for the last week of December 2022.Information Guide Nigeria

According to the government website, 22 of the incidents occurred in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), ten in Lagos State, two in Delta, and one in Plateau.

The illnesses occurred between December 24, 2022 and December 30, 2022. Since the pandemic’s emergence in 2019, the nation’s total infections have risen to 266,450, with 3,155 deaths.NYSC portal

According to the disease centre, 3,451 people are currently infected with the virus, while 259,841 people have been treated and discharged across the country.JAMB portal

To avoid the transmission of the virus and other dangerous diseases, the organisation advises Nigerians to sanitise frequently touched surfaces on a regular basis.

The NCDC emphasised that vaccines continue to be one of the most effective strategies for combating the disease, while also encouraging Nigerians to be vaccinated.JAMB Result
