Nigerian e-passport application requirements and application procedures

In this guide, you will be put through the various requirements needed for the application and renewal of Nigerian e-passport.

Nigerian passports are issued to citizens (Nigerians) who wish to travel out of the country. Currently, Nigeria now offers only electronic passports for new passport applications. These electronic passports which we shorten as e-passport is classified as either standard or official e-passport depending on the intended use.

The official e-passport is primarily reserved for certain classes of government officials and Nigerian diplomats and can also be acquired the same way the standard e-passport is acquired.
