Atedo Peterside, a renowned economist and founder of Anap Foundation, has endorsed the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, in Saturday’s election saying that he (Obi) represents a new path for Nigerians. THE PUNCH reports.Information Guide Nigeria

I like the fact that the new path does not have an absolute majority in the National Assembly because it will stop the executives from bringing ‘nonsense on economic fronts’ to the parliament and in advance is rubber-stamped by their whole party while sabotaging Nigerians’ interest.

“So for the four years, all the arguments on power sector reform, fuel subsidy, and others, Obi actively partook in them and if he was always on the wrong side on economic matters, I would not have voted for him.
“I believe that there is a new arrangement that he represents and he wants to bring on board with his wealth of economic and governance experience, whether he succeeds is a different matter.JAMB Result
