
Osinbajo, others to chart path to cocoa industry sustenance
At the 2022 National Cocoa Festival, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo will lead agricultural sector stakeholders in a discussion about sustainable methods to strengthen the nation’s cocoa industry value chain.Information Guide Nigeria
The festival is organised by the Cocoa Farmers Association of Nigeria in partnership with the Ondo State Government, CAN, FMARD, FMITI, Harvestfield Industry Limited, CRIN, Ondo State Cocoa Council, and the Ooni of Ife Outreach. It is set to take place in Akure, Ondo state on October 13, 2022. Professor Oguntade of the Federal University of Technology, Akure, will serve as the keynote speaker for the session on “Stakeholders’ Collaboration to Make Nigeria Cocoa Industry Sustainable” (FUTA).

Prince Martins Awofisayo, managing director of Harvestfield Industries Limited, will deliver the keynote presentation. During the ceremony, the Yoruba edition of the Cocoa GAP Handbook and the Cocoa Academy Centre will both be officially launched.

The Nigerian Export-Import Bank (NEXIM), the Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC), the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), the Nigerian Incentive-Based Risk Sharing System for Agricultural Lending (NIRSAL), and the Bank of Agriculture are among the organisations that are anticipated to attend the event.JAMB Result
