“I expect the Otunba Dele Oye Presidency to change the tone of public-private partnership in the development of the Nigerian business sector. As a top player, he must ensure a closer relationship of business with the government and vice versa. NACCIMA must move to the centre stage and become a robust influencer to better the business environment.JAMB Result
“I specifically call on the new President to reach out to the Nigeria Governors’ Forum to make a presentation on why NACCIMA matters in the quest to solve national economic crises through its capacity to deepen SME development across the 36 states. Such briefing will open up on why NACCIMA collaboration with state governments is a secret key to growing the economy in real time. State governments must encourage and support the growth of Chambers of Commerce.
“Such an interaction with the Governors’ Forum will boost the expansion of Chamber movement across the states, provide platforms for business growth and strengthen the entrepreneurship spirit of small business operators in the country.
“I know the new President has all what it takes to lead Nigeria’s Chambers of Commerce to greater glory. Nigeria needs a prosperous business class to eliminate poverty, create jobs and fast track national development. I wish Otunba Dele Oye a superbly successful tenure of office”, the statement concluded.NYSC Portal
