“However, let me formally inform the people of Owerri Federal Consistency that a wise, knowledgeable, strong, bold, courageous and articulate voice has emerged from the Social Democratic party to end the four years of Ikenna Elezieanya’s ill and voiceless representation of our people.

“As a public interest lawyer, human rights activist, pro-democracy and rule of law advocate, who has consulted with several lawmakers and drafted several sound and award-winning bills on their behalf, I will utilise the Annual Appropriation Bill, which is the single most important law that the National Assembly enacts yearly, to better the socio-economic development and political emancipation of Nde Owere.

“As your Lawmaker and Representative, it is my constitutional duty and responsibility to ensure that the distribution of all cadres of posts in the public service of the Federation and in Imo State, the Armed Forces, the Police Force and other government Security Agencies, government owned companies, ministries, agencies and parastatals reach our people.

“I will, as your Representative, promote, monitor and ensure that government ministries, agencies and institutions comply with the principles of proportional sharing of all bureaucratic, economic, and political posts at all levels of governance vividly captured in the Federal Character Principle of Nigeria enshrined in section 14 (3) and (4) of the 1999 Constitution and several other sections of the 1999 Constitution. Our focus shall be using the law to integrate, emancipate, develop and liberate our people from socio-economic slavery and backwardness.”
