Pat Utomi speaks on Tinubu funding Peter Obi’s presidential campaign

This is coming against the backdrop of a claim by an LP candidate in Oyo State, Tawfiq Akinwale, that Tinubu asked Utomi to step down for Peter Obi in the buildup to the 2023 general elections.

However, Utomi described the allegation as misinformation against him.

Tweeting, Utomi wrote: “Truly if any flow from BAT came to me, I would quickly withdraw money I spent at his urging in 2007 paid to an international PR agency for an Orange revolution-type campaign to stop 3rd term but not refunded.JAMB Result
