Pat Utomi speaks on Tinubu funding Peter Obi’s presidential campaign

A political economist, Pat Utomi, has denied claims that the President-elect, Bola Tinubu, sponsored the election of the Labour Party, LP, presidential candidate, Peter Obi. DAILY POST reports.Information Guide Nigeria

This is coming against the backdrop of a claim by an LP candidate in Oyo State, Tawfiq Akinwale, that Tinubu asked Utomi to step down for Peter Obi in the buildup to the 2023 general elections.

However, Utomi described the allegation as misinformation against him.
