The Peoples Democratic Party’s Presidential Campaign Organization has accepted the appointment of Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, to the campaign council.Information Guide Nigeria
Adeleke was appointed Chairman of the PDP PCO’s South-West Coordinating Committee on Saturday, according to a document signed by the PDP PCO’s Director-General, Governor Aminu Tambuwal.
Other key PDP members have also been nominated to lead strategic campaign offices for Atiku Abubakar’s presidential campaign.
Senator Dino Melaye has been appointed to the position of Director of Public Affairs.
“These appointments are with immediate effects,” Tambuwal said.

The campaign council also made appointments of Zonal Liaison Desk Officers.

Adeleke’s appointment is one of the most recent appointments announced by the PDP campaign council.
The PUNCH reported that on December 4, former Speaker of House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, was appointed as a member of the PDP Campaign Council.NYSC portal
Sokoto State Governor Tambuwal announced Dogara’s appointment in a statement.
Part of the statement read, “The leadership of the PDP Presidential Campaign Council wishes to formally announce that Rt. Hon. Yakubu Dogara, has been appointed as a member of the Presidential Campaign Council with immediate effect.
“This is part of our continuous effect in joining hands with our presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, to recover our great country, Nigeria.”
Dogara was an All Progressives Congress member who had spoken out against the party’s Muslim-Muslim ticket.JAMB Result
He was officially welcomed into the PDP at a party presidential rally in Lagos.
The development came after the Northern Leaders Consultative Forum, which included Christian and Muslim religious and political leaders from the North, including Dogara, endorsed Atiku.
