Prominent politicians who left the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the All Progressives Congress (APC) were welcomed into the fold on Monday in Kebbi State.
According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), the defectors included the former party auditor general, Alhaji Rabiu Sa’idu, the former secretary of the caretaker committee, Alhaji Sirajo Ibrahim, and 15 other PDP executive members from Bubuce ward in Augie Local Government Area.Information Guide Nigeria

Salihu Shayi, a youth leader; Alhaji Idi Bubuche, the treasurer; and Hamza Kilu, the auditor were among the others. Umaru Wakkala was the vice chairman of the Bubuche Ward.
The previous party Auditor-General, Saidu, explained his defection immediately after the group announced their decision to join the ruling party and credited Gov. Atiku Bagudu’s “sterling leadership abilities” for his decision.
In attendance were Augie Local Government APC Chairman, Alhaji Bashir Isah-Mera; Lawal Muhammad-Yola, Chairman Augie Local Government Area; Alhaji Haruna Maitandu, Chairman Pilgrims Welfare Agency, and the former Chairman, Direct Labour Agency, Alhaji Bello Dantani.JAMB Result
