PDP Crisis: I Will Flog, Crush ‘The Small Boys’, Says Wike

The governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, declared on Monday that he will flog and destroy what he called “the tiny boys” in the Peoples Democratic Party’s dilemma rather than leaving it to God to deal with them.Information Guide Nigeria

When Wike opened the Osisioma Interchange and the Dualised Aba-Owerri Road in Aba, Abia State, he declared, “God has given me what it takes to crush these people, for me to crush my opponents.

Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia welcomed Wike, who added that he knows relationships and that no one can defy him when it comes to his PDP kin governors and friends, including Ikpeazu, Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu, Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue, and Governor Seyi Makinde (Oyo).JAMB Result

“No relationship can be bought with money. When I read some newspapers, they say some people are making attempts to break ranks. I said do you understand the modus operandi of what we are doing? If they understand the modus operandi, they will not waste their time.

“If you like, go and meet Ikpeazu, if you like go and meet Seyi, if you like go and meet Ortom, if you like go and meet Ugwuanyi. You don’t even understand what we are doing…you are making mistakes,” the Rivers governor stated.

Ayu should obey the agreement and retire, Wike continued, else Nigerians would know who is relevant or not at the appropriate moment.

As a response to Ayu’s characterization of Wike and his brother governors in the South as “children,” the governor of Rivers claimed that the “children” had rescued the former senator from the gutter and elevated him to the position of PDP national chairman after Uche Secondus was displaced by a tsunami the previous year.

In a dig at Ayu, Wike remarked that he won’t waste time on his rivals because they are “little boys.”

“I was in the plane with him (Ikpeazu) and we were discussing. He said why will not leave these people for God? But I told him why are you overcrowding God? God has given me what it takes to crush these people, for me to crush my enemies.

“Now that I know I have the capacity to flog these small boys, you want me to leave it for God? I won’t do that. I am going to flog them pepperly. When we start campaign, we will know who is who,” the governor said.
