PDP govt plotting to rig Taraba LG polls – APC alleges

The Taraba State chapter of the All Progressive Congress, APC, has alleged that the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, is scheming to compromise the forthcoming local government elections.

In the statement signed by the APC state chairman, Barrister Ibrahim Tuktur El-Sudi, the party lamented that some PDP leaders are encouraging Governor Agbu Kefas “to throw caution to the winds and write the results even before the votes are cast”.

“It is not difficult to understand the state of despondency and disenchantment within the ruling Peoples Democratic Party in Taraba State at the moment.

The party is now a haven of a disillusioned, angry, and disoriented mob of stakeholders who are completely uncertain about their future after contributing their efforts to the so-called victory of the party during the last election.

“With this devastating and distressing situation, Tarabans are not sure of anything as they contend with the paralysing and harrowing hard times under Governor Kefas,” parts of the statement said.
