Three middle-aged men have been arrested in Kano State over alleged possession of people’s Automated Teller Machine (ATM) cards. NAIJA NEWS reports.
A statement issued by the state command of the Nigeria Police Force confirmed that the suspected fraudsters were found with 36 ATM cards from different banks.Information Guide Nigeria
According to the command’s spokesman, DSP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, the suspects were arrested after police received a report from a resident of Kofar Ruwa Quarters, Kano, that some unknown persons deceitfully swapped her ATM card at a bank on Murtala Muhammed Way, Kano.
Kiyawa said a team of detectives swung into action after receiving the report and arrested the three suspects.
He revealed those arrested as Mu’azzam Sabo, 25. A resident of Yakasai Quarters, Kano. Another, Auwal Nasiru, is said to be 27 years old. A resident of Tudun Maliki Quarters, Kano; and Auwal Sueiman, 25 years old of Medile Hamdala Quarters, Kano.NYSC Portal
