Police confirm arrest of Osun construction workers for alleged theft of iron rods

In Ilesa, Osun State, four construction workers have been detained for allegedly stealing iron rods from a prison construction site. The Osun State Police Command confirmed the arrests, and Yemisi Opalola, the command’s spokesperson, mentioned that the suspects are currently in custody.JAMB Result

Ahmed Nureni, the Osun NHFSS Commander, confirmed the arrests, stating that the incident occurred on Thursday night on the Gbongan/Osogbo road. Nureni pointed out that the suspects were part of an ongoing government-backed project in Ilesa, which, according to their claims, was focused on prison construction. The stolen items had been ordered just weeks prior to their capture.
