Police help nine children from cult initiation in Lagos

Lagos State Police Command rescued nine children, aged between 9 and 14, who were about to be forced into a cult group initiation. THE GUARDIAN reports.InformationGuideNigeria

Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the rescue in a statement on Thursday and highlighted the disturbing details surrounding the children’s ordeal.JAMB Portal

The children, whose identities have been withheld for their safety, were discovered during or after the initiation process, according to Hundeyin.
