The Minister of Communications and Culture, Lai Muhammed has disclosed that the National Population Commission is seeking N2.8 billion Naira.Information Guide Nigeria
According to DAILY POST, the commission has sought approval from the Federal Executive Council, FEC, on purchasing software costing N2.8 billion.
The minister disclosed this in his briefing to state-house correspondents after the FEC meeting on Wednesday in Abuja.NYSC Portal

Muhammed revealed the reason for the postponement of the National Population Census earlier proposed for March 29, 2023.
He said the Governorship and House of Assembly elections scheduled for March 18 as a reason for the new date.
According to DAILY POST, he added, “They (National Population Commission) sought the council’s approval for a contract to procure software for the census at N2.8bn”.JAMB Result
