President Bola Tinubu Hands APC Flag to Gubernatorial Candidates for Upcoming Off-Season Elections

President Bola Tinubu, in a symbolic gesture, presented the All Progressive Congress (APC) flag to gubernatorial candidates from Bayelsa, Kogi, and Imo states ahead of the off-season elections scheduled for November 11, 2023.InformationGuideNigeria

The flag handover ceremony took place at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, with the President personally handing over the flags to Hope Uzodinma of Imo state, Timipreye Sylva of Bayelsa state, and Ahmed Ododo of Kogi state. Expressing his best wishes, President Tinubu hoped for their victory in the upcoming polls.

The decision to conduct off-season elections in these three states on November 11 was taken by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

The event saw the presence of key APC figures, including its National Chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje, who led the trio of candidates to the Presidential Villa for the ceremony.
