General Selection Criteria

MSc Requirements

• A minimum of a Second Class Upper (2.1) in the first degree, or a Second Class Lower (2.2) with industry experience.
• Completed the National Youth Service (NYSC).
• Computer literacy.
• 5 O/level credits, including English and Mathematics.
• A statement of purpose (max 500 words).
• National Identity Number (NIN) with verification (charges apply).

PhD Requirements

• Completed NYSC and computer literacy.
• 5 O/level credits, including English and Mathematics.
• A Second Class Lower (2.2) in the first degree and a strong postgraduate degree.
• A research proposal relevant to the oil and gas industry (not more than five pages).
• Lecturers must provide a no-scholarship receipt letter.
• National Identity Number (NIN) with verification (charges apply).
