1. OBA FREDERICK OBATERUN AKINRUTAN

Oba Obaterun is the richest king in Nigeria and the Olugbo of Ugbo. He was born in 1950, and is the traditional monarch of Ugbo Kingdom, in Ilaje Local Government, Ondo State since 2009.

He is not just a traditional ruler, but a business magnate. He is a realtor, with investments in the Oil and Gas industry. He is the CEO of Obat Oil, which was founded in 1981. The company has over 50 gas dispensing stations around the country. His sons now manage his Oil farms.

2. MUHAMMADU SA’AD ABUBAKAR IV

Sultan Abubakar presides over the Sokoto Caliphate and is the most powerful monarch in the country. He is the spiritual ruler of the Nigerian Muslims. 3. LAMIDO SANUSI LAMIDO

Sanusi Lamido used to be the Emir of Kano and an influential Custodian of the Northern  Culture. He was formerly the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria. In 2013, he was recognised at the Global Islamic Finance Awards in Dubai for his scholarly attitude in handling the financial accounts of the Islams, during his time of service at the Central Bank.

Oba Adeyeye is an educated ruler. Having obtained many honorary degrees from diverse institutions. He studied Accounting at the Ibadan Polytechnic, Public Administration at the University of Nigeria Nsukka, and Law at Igbinedion University. He is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and an Associate Accounting Technician.

The Oba of Ife is a businessman, with investments in the Oil Industry and Real Estate.

5. OBA EWUARE OGIDIGAN II

Oba Ewuare Eheneden Erediauwa is the 40th Oba of Benin and the Monarch of the Edo people; born on 20th October 1953. He was crowned on 20th October 2016.

He graduated from the University of Wales, the UK as an Economist. He also schooled at Rutgers University Graduate School, New Jersey USA. It was there he obtained a Masters’s Degree in Public Administration.

He is currently the Nigerian Ambassador to Italy. He has five wives and four children in his household.
