According to forbes recent report, FC Barcelona captain Sergio Busquets’ exit from the club has been confirmed, with the veteran about to accept an offer from Inter Miami.
The 34-year-old’s contract at Camp Nou expires at the end of the season, and it had been expected that he would call time on his career in Blaugrana which began in the first team when he became part of Pep Guardiola‘s plans in the 2008-2009 season.
Unlike fellow ‘sacred cows’ Gerard Pique and Jordi Alba who have been confined to the bench under current coach Xavi Hernandez, Busquets still plays a prominent role in the starting XI as a pivot with the skipper’s armband.
