Confirming the incident, the Spokesman of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Mr. Gambo Ibrahim, said that the incident happened around 1:30 p.m. when the occupants were going back to their respective destinations.

According to an eyewitness who does not want his name in print, the accident involved three commercial vehicles conveying passengers from Jajimaji and Hadejia Market back to their respective villages.
