Short Codes to Perform GTBank Money Transfer using Your Mobile Phone

GTBank is a symbol of social banking. Meaning that you can perform your banking operations everywhere anywhere. With your mobile, you can send money to anyone just on the go.

This is a quick guide on how to do GTBank money transfer using your phone using short codes. I will also show you the short codes and how to use them to perform money transfer to other account.

To initiate transfers to a GTBank account, do the following:

To obtain your Internet Banking login details, simply follow this procedure;

>TextIBANK and your NUBAN Account Number example. IBANK 0123456789 to 08076665555.

After that, your User login details will be sent to your registered e-mail address.

Now you can perform your transfer.

 

GTBank to GTBank Mobile Transfer

(1)  dial *737*1*Amount*NUBAN Account No# on your phone

e.g. *737*1*1000*1234567890# . Please use the phone number you used to register the Bank account.

 

GTBank to Other Banks Mobile Transfer

To transfers money to beneficiaries in other Bank’s, Please use the following short codes.

(1)  dial *737*2*Amount*NUBAN Account No# See example

e.g. *737*2*1000*1234567890#.

You will need to use the last four digits of your GTBank Naira MasterCard to authorize each transaction.

 

Terms and Conditions

Note that the minimum you can transfer per day is N1,000 and the maximum amount you can transfer per day N50,000.

Also note that a charge of N20 applies for GTBank to GTBank transfers while the normal transfer charges apply for GTBank to other banks.
