Taraba NNPP guber candidate heads to supreme court

Professor Sani Yahaya, the gubernatorial candidate of the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP) for Taraba State in the 2023 general election, has rejected the recent judgment of the appeal court in Abuja.InformationGuideNigeria

He plans to proceed to the Supreme Court to seek redress, expressing optimism about reclaiming the mandate he believes was given to him by Tarabans.NYSC Portal

Yahaya criticized the judgments of both the tribunal and the appeal court, labeling them as a miscarriage of justice and lacking fairness.

He urged his supporters to remain calm and expressed disappointment with the dismissal of his appeal by the court, citing missing pages from the tribunal’s proceeding papers as grounds for the decision.
