Third Mainland Bridge repairs resume Jan 9 – LASG

The Lagos State Government has announced that the Third Mainland Bridge will be temporarily closed for repairs starting Tuesday, January 9. This decision comes after a previous closure in November 2023, which was later lifted on December 21 to facilitate smoother traffic flow during the holiday season, as reported by The PUNCH.InformationGuideNigeria

Mr. Oluwaseun Osiyemi, the state Commissioner for Transportation, issued a statement explaining that this closure is necessary to allow the Federal Ministry of Works to carry out essential repair works on the bridge.
