Medical personnel at the scene moved the officers to a medical shed where they were resuscitated.

The celebration continued with performances from various arms of the Armed Forces and the police.

President Muhammadu Buhari and other dignitaries had gathered at the Eagles Square to mark the 2022 Democracy Day on Monday.

The Democracy Day Parade is an annual event held to commemorate Nigeria’s return to civilian rule.
