The prosecutor said the offences contravened sections 390, 383 and 516 of the Criminal Code Cap. 38 Laws of the Federation.

Ruling on the matter on Wednesday, Uche Agomoh, the presiding judge, admitted each of the defendants to bail of N500,000 with two reliable sureties in like sum.

The judge noted that one of the sureties must be a civil servant while the other must be a family member.

Agomoh ordered that the defendants should be remanded until the meet their bail conditions.NYSC Portal

The judge then adjourned the case until September 26 for commencement of trial.
