Tinubu will get votes from many Igbo people – Nwoye says

Dr. Ben Nwoye, former president of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Enugu State branch, boasted that the party’s presidential candidate for the 2023 election, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, would get enough votes in the Southeast.Information Guide Nigeria

He made the statement confidently during the launch of the Tinubu-Shettima campaign built by an independent advocacy group in the state.

According to Nwoye, the APC leadership will continue the good work of President Buhari, and he added that the current administration has achieved much despite the security issues.
The incumbent President mentioned some of the landmark achievements of the Buhari administration including increasing and paying the minimum wage to N30,000, as well as increasing the allowances of National Youth Corps members ( NYSC) to 33,000 N.

He also revealed that the party is working hard and will ensure that many Igbo will vote for Tinubu in the presidential election. Nwoye further noted that the presidency, under the APC, has embarked on massive infrastructure development in the country, especially in the southeast.JAMB Result

He said; “There is need for continuity and even though there is a problem of security, it should not undermine the achievement of the APC-led government.

“It was the APC under Buhari that introduced the primary school feeding project”.

“We want to ensure that Tinubu/Shettima will get enough votes in the South-East.

“I advise supporters of other parties that are saying that APC will not campaign in the South-East to bury the idea. We have thousands of supporters that will work for the APC,” he added.
