A coalition of supporters of All Progressives Congress presidential candidate Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has pledged to assist him in breaking the trend of ruling parties failing to capture the Federal Capital Territory.

Since the restoration of democracy in 1999, the FCT has eluded successive governments, from former President Olusegun Obasanjo’s to the current one.

It is a development that many political commentators have described as a jinx that no ruling party has been able to overcome.

A coalition of support groups under the leadership of an APC stalwart, Dr Ene Ogbole, on Thursday, launched a mass mobilisation campaign tagged ‘Operation deliver FCT to APC’ with the primary aim of breaking the jinx.

Speaking to journalists at the project’s official debut, Ogbole revealed that they had discovered why consecutive presidents failed to secure a majority of votes in the nation’s capital.

The delectable politician announced the beginning of ‘Operation Deliver FCT to APC’ to carry on the indigenes and fix the reoccurring errors.JAMB Result
