Tragic Incident of Suicide Involving Arabic Student in Ilorin

In Kwara State, a 22-year-old Arabic student named Alfa Musa was found to have committed suicide. The young student, affiliated with Sheikh Kamaldeen Arabic School in Ilorin, was discovered hanging in his room located in the Dagbenu compound, Ogidi area of the city, on December 7, 2023.JAMB Result

The state Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Ejire Adetoun Adeyemi, has confirmed this incident and stated that an investigation into the matter is underway. According to the spokesperson of the police, the deceased student said in a suicide note, “to my mum and dad, I am sorry, I did this because God did not answer my prayers, I will rather die than commit sin, please, forgive me, I love you, bury me at home.”
