The process for checking the WAEC result is very easy, you can even do it yourself. You may need a WAEC scratch card to check your result if You don’t have a WAEC ID Card to get your Pin and serial number. WAEC uses this unique pin to identify each student. It is a unique 10-digit or 12-digit number that is required when checking your WAEC result.

  • Go to WAEC result checking portal here >>.https://www.waecdirect.org/
  • Select your Examination Year i.e. 2023/2024
  • Select your Examination Type i.e. SCHOOL CANDIDATE RESULT.
  • Enter your WAEC Examination Number in the required column.
  • Enter the Serial Number either from your WAEC ID card or Scratch card.
  • Enter the Card PIN.
  • Finally, click the “Submit” button to get your 2023/2024 WAEC Result.

  • Send SMS in the format ”WAEC*Exam No*PIN*Exam Year” To the short-code 32327(MTN, Glo & Airtel subscribers)
    For example -: WAEC*4250101001*123456789012*2022

Ensure you stick to the above message format. There should be no space in the message. This SMS Costs N30 Only. Kindly Wait for a few minutes for your result to be delivered to your phone via SMS.

You can find your WAEC Serial Number on the back of your WAEC ID card. Or better still, you can purchase the WAEC scratch card at the nearest WAEC Office or accredited dealers around your location, thereafter you use the card to check your WAEC result 2023. Some cybercafés are also allowed to sell.

You only have five attempts to use the WAEC ID card or Scratch Card on their website. After using the WAEC ID card or Scratch card to check your result five times you need to purchase a Scratch card to check your result.
