W’Cup: Buhari salutes Morocco for making Africa proud

The President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd. ), has congratulated Morocco’s football team, the Atlas Lions, and the country’s ruler, King Mohammed, on their historic performance at the 2018 World Cup in Qatar.

Buhari congratulated the Atlas Lions for becoming the fourth African team to ever qualify for the World Cup quarterfinals in a message delivered by his spokesperson, Malam Garba Shehu, on Monday in Abuja.

The team is also the first in Africa to reach the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 semi-finals.JAMB Result
