We’ve lost over 65% of yam to excessive heat in Abuja – Farmers

Yam farmers in Abuja have decried over 65 percent of their harvest was lost to excessive heat caused by climate change a report by Media Advocacy West Africa- Foundation, MAWA, on Sunday disclosed. DAILY POST reports.Information Guide Nigeria

The group conducted a focused group discussion with farmers in the Kwaita community in the Kwali Area Council of Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and discovered that climate change has continued to take a toll on farmers.
