Nollywood star Ini Edo tied the knot with Edo-based entrepreneur Philip Ehiagwina back in 2008, but unfortunately, their union hit the rocks in 2014.

Ini Edo revealed that she chose surrogacy since she had many miscarriages that caused her to give up on having her own child.
Since she didn’t have a husband, she decided on surrogacy since she was in dire need of a child.
“I chose surrogacy because I had a couple of miscarriages and I got tired of trying and I didn’t want to try. Since I don’t have a husband, I wanted a child for myself, so the eggw as mine”.NYSC Portal
On if she regrets her marriage, she said, “Yes, I regret it because it wasn’t the right move to make.
I will get married again if the right person comes at my own time”.
