Woman seeks justice for husband killed at INEC collation centre

The wife of the man who was shot dead at a Collation Centre in Ondo State, Mrs Oluwaseyi Akinfolarin has called for the arrest and prosecution of the soldier who pulled the trigger.Information Guide Nigeria

The deceased who was reportedly shot after a scuffle with security operatives, accompanied the winner of the House of Representatives seat for Ifedore/Idanre Federal Constituency, Hon Festus Akingbaso, to receive his Certificate of Result when he was killed.

In a chat with journalists, mrs Akinfolarin said that her late husband was not a thug or political miscreant as being portrayed in the media.

She said: “My husband was a peace loving man that harbor no grudges against anybody. Before his demise, we talked and he said everything is okay but surprisingly, the next call I received was that he has been killed by a soldier.
