Yobe gets new Controller of Correctional Service

The Nigerian Correctional Service in Yobe State has announced the appointment of Bala Dan’azumi Kitsam as the new Controller of Corrections. This information was shared by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, ASC Haruna Isa, in a statement released to the press in Damaturu.JAMB Result

Kitsam becomes the 4th Controller of Corrections in Yobe State since the transformation of the Nigeria Prisons Service into the Nigerian Correctional Service in 2019, following the enactment of a new law by former President Muhammadu Buhari.JAMB Portal

He succeeds the former Controller of Corrections, Yusufu Sambo, who has been promoted to the rank of Assistant Controller General of Corrections (ACG). Following his promotion, Sambo has been redeployed to the national headquarters of the service in Abuja.InformationGuideNigeria
