“You ate a bag of rice in one sitting” – Outrage as man says he was billed N98k for a plate of rice

A Nigeria who was dining at a restaurant in Lagos state showed the amount he was paid for a dish of rice.

According to GISTLOVER, the Nigerian customer made a post on X, stating that he was asked to pay N98,000 for the food provided at the eatery.

The bill indicated that he was charged N4,320 for water and N59,520 for chicken skewers.

In addition, he paid N28,280 for a Pina Colada. The law also included a tax of more than N10,000.

Some folks weren’t pleased with the bill. They said that the enormous money paid for the meal was enough to buy one bag of rice.
