Youths with knowledge of technology needed to resolve challenges -FG

The Federal Government of Nigeria has emphasized the critical role of youth with technological expertise in addressing global challenges. This viewpoint was expressed by Dr. Bosun Tijani, the Minister of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy, during the 33rd convocation lecture at the Federal University of Technology, Akure.InformationGuideNigeria

Dr. Tijani highlighted the importance of technology in driving development and solving complex problems at both national and global levels. He underscored that for Nigeria to progress, it is essential to focus on and enhance three key sectors: agriculture, manufacturing, and services. These sectors, he noted, have been fundamental in measuring the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of the country since 1980.JAMB Result

Earlier, the Vice Chancellor of FUTA, Prof. Adenike Oladiji, said the occasion started last week and inviting the minister was part of the activities lined up to mark the 33rd anniversary.

Oladiji said the convocation was to showcase the school as a citadel of knowledge and happy to have brought the minister to Akure for the first time.
