In a communiqué issued at the conclusion of the second season of the eighth Synod of the Diocese, Danbinta expressed dismay over the closure of churches, schools, and markets in the state as a result of the country’s escalating insecurity.

In addition, the cleric criticized how corruption damaged the economy and demanded that all levels of government wake up.

He said, “Corruption has eaten deep into our country Nigeria at all levels of government which made the country to be branded as one of the most corrupt nations in the world.”NYSC portal
He emphasized that corruption had made it difficult for employees to be paid on time and that graduates were unable to find profitable employment.

“Knowing that the greatest problem in Nigeria is leadership, we called on Nigerians to make it a point of responsibility to vote in the forthcoming elections and to vote in persons who have respect for the pluralised nature of the country,” he added.
