16 Dead In A River While Trying To Run Away From Bandits In Niger
Not less than 16 villagers have been drowned in River Kaduna, Niger State, while trying to escape attacks in their communities in Munya Local Government Area of the State. DAILY POST reports. Information Guide Nigeria
It was reported that the incident occurred yesterday, when gunmen numbering about hundred invaded the communities of the victims.

According to reports, the gunmen sacked most of the villagers as they killed scores. This made many of the residents to flee their villages through River Kaduna. jamb results
The Director-General of Niger State Emergency Management Agency, NSEMA, Ahmed Inga, confirmed the incident to Vanguard, saying a search and rescue operation had begun.
He said, “For now, we don’t know the number of casualties because we have not been able to rescue anybody, but I can tell you that over 30 people, including women and children, were involved.”
