2023 Election: Northern Youth Group Endorses Emefiele
The Unified Northern Nigeria Youth Forum UNNYF has described the Central Bank Governor, Godwin Emefiele as an economist whose policies have rejuvenated the economy of Nigeria. THE PUNCH reports.
According to THE PUNCH, the Director-General of the group, Ibrahim Bature, who called on Nigerians to support the aspiration of the CBN Governor as the next president of Nigeria in Minna on Sunday after a solidarity walk, said it is for unity, economic and political progress of the country. Bature stated that for fairness and equity, it is only fair to support Igbo presidency come 2023.
“For fairness and equity and justice, the fair thing to do as Nigerians is to support Igbo presidency.
He called on Northerners to rally support for the CBN Governor considering his efforts at rejuvenating the country’s economy. jamb results
“Emefiele has proved his worth and I urge northerners and Nigerians to rally around him considering his policies that have rejuvenated the nation’s economy, especially in the agricultural sector now contributing tremendously to the GDP.
He added that if elected as a financial expert and an economist, the CBN governor will replicate those impacted policies in other sectors of the economy for the betterment of the country to enable Nigeria to join the league of nations.
The group also enumerated some achievements of the CBN Governor adding that they are enough to prove that he has the capacity to improve the economy of Nigeria.
“Anchor Borrowers and other financial support to the fewer privileges in our communities, 5,000,00 (Five thousand Naira) Vulnerable people support programmes for olds in our communities and Traders Money among others” he stated.
