Hon. Deji Aboderin, candidate for the House of Representatives on the platform of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in the Ibadan North East/Ibadan South East federal district, had a campaign billboard vandalised by thugs.
Wednesday morning saw the destruction of the billboard located at Challenge roundabout.

Tuesday in Ibadan, APC members who participated in a walk of solidarity in favour of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the party’s presidential candidate, were attacked.

However, it was discovered that many of the people were taken by surprise when the destruction was carried out.
The billboard was constructed a few days after the presidential and national assembly campaigns began.
Wednesday, Aboderin, the candidate for the SDP, confirmed the incident to DAILY POST.
Aboderin called the attention of the security agencies to the incident, saying, “My billboard was destroyed at Challenge Round About in the early hours of today in the night.
“The role of the government is to protect the lives and property of the people but at the moment, they are not being protected.
