2023: Lagos state deputy governor reacts to claims of his son supporting Peter Obi

The Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Femi Hamzat, has refuted rumours that his first son supported the Labour party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi, and attended a rally in the state.Infomation Guide Nigeria

The deputy of Gov. Sanwo-Olu admonished supporters of Peter Obi to cease their use of cheap techniques that would not bring political dividends. Hamzat issued the warning through Tunde Alao, his Senior Special Assistant for Media.

During the Saturday rally in Lagos, a photograph went viral after supporters of the Labour Party (LP) candidate identified it as Hamzat’s kid.

It called the allegation a foolish, baseless, and malicious attempt to sow discord between the deputy governor and loyalists throughout Nigeria. It was stated that Hamzat is known for his dedication and loyalty to the Sanwo-Olu administration and the All Progressives Congress (APC).Jamb Result

“His support is for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Senator Kashim Shettima. Our party and all our supporters are working hard to ensure that our candidates get the votes of Nigerians and ours is not about bogus statistics and lies,” he said. He advised Obi’s supporters to get serious with their campaigns and urged Nigerians to be on the look out for actions meant to deceive them.
