To ADD the Glo Mobile number of the person you want to share your Glo data with, compose a text thus:

Share Recipient’s Glo number. Then send to 127 (Don’t forget to leave a space between Recipient’s number and ‘share’).

For example; you are to type ”Share 08053844×××” and then send as a message to 127

Note: You must subscribe to a Glo data plan of at least 1000 Naira and above for you to be able to share data with people.

As soon as Glo sends you a notification massage stating that you have successfully shared data with the number, the recipient will start browsing without restriction. The cost of the recipient’s data usage will be deducted from your data as they browse.

Glo data sharing is useful for families if all have a Glo SIM in their phones and the family intends to buy one data plan for the household where one Glo data bundle subscription is shared by members. This plan goes as well for friends, groups and colleagues willing to share one Glo data bundle subscription.

On the other hand, an individual, entrepreneur or company who have several Smart Phones and other internet enabled devices like; owning an iPad, iPhone, iPod, Android Phone, Laptop and Desktop Computers etc.; all using a Glo SIM card will not need to buy separate data bundle plans for each device but rather buy one data bundle plan to be shared by all the devices. Very smart.

Also note that the USSD Codes must be dialled from the SIM you are sharing the Glo data from.

Gifting Data MB Plans To Recipient(s)

Gifting on the other hand is useful when you want to send data MB as a gift to family members, colleagues, or friends. Then you will have to purchase a Glo data plan for another Glo customer instead of yourself.

Therefore, to GIFT a Subscription, dial *127*USSD-Plan-Number* Recipient’s number#.
