Since Glo telecommunications introduced their new Night Browsing Plan, many of their subscribers have started rejoicing over the new discounted offer.
According to the last statistics released by the National Communication Commissions (NCC), Glo has the largest number of internet users in Nigeria.
With the cheapest data bundles they offer to Nigerians, they don’t seem to allow another telecommunications Network in Nigeria to overtake them.
Considering Glo’s cheap normal plans that come with vast data volumes, you cannot imagine the largeness of their Night Plans data volume.
Glo has huge night plan bundles depending on your needs or plans of using it.

Glo is now the self-acclaimed “Grandmasters of Data”. Which if you take a scrutinous look at the telecommunication company, you’ll find that they are unparalleled when it comes to offering a large volume of data at affordable prices to their customers.
That said, most Glo customers are dissatisfied with their internet speed and wouldn’t mind switching to other telecommunication networks.
But glo is aware of this which is why they have created a mouth-watering data package that is not only affordable but also provides an insane amount of data for a really small price.
The name of that data plan is called “Glo Night and Weekend Plan”. Yeah, that’s right, a special plan for nights and weekends only.
And since most people sleep at night it means that the internet speed will be quite higher and you’ll be able to enjoy the data bundle your purchased.
You can access the Night and Weekend plan by following the steps mentioned below:
- Dial *777#.
- Press 1(Data).
- Press 1(Buy data plan).
- Press either 1 or 2 (Auto-renew and one-off respectively) it’s your choice to make.
- Then press 7 (Night and Weekend plan).
And that’s pretty much it. So you see it’s quite easy to access this plan and you don’t need to migrate to any tariff whatsoever before you can get access to it.
List Of All Glo Night And Weekend Plans
The Glo night and weekend plan consist of various data bundles which we shall be looking into one by one. They are:
- N25 for 250MB.
- N50 for 500MB.
- N100 for 1GB.
- N200 for 1.2GB.
- N500 for 3GB.
Night Plan For Glo
The aforementioned data plans are divided into night plans and weekend plans. They are called night plans because they are only valid from 12 am-05 am. The night plans include :
- N25 for 250MB night plan.
- N50 for 500MB night plan.
- N100 for 1GB night plan.
N25 For 250mb
This is one of the cheapest Glo data bundles but it’s also the cheapest data plan on the Glo night and weekend plan list.
This data plan is only valid from 12 am-05 am. Afterward, it will be expired and cannot be rolled-over or auto-renewed.
This plan is suitable for lightweight data users, who even though they spend a lot of time on the internet, only engage in low data consumption activities such as chatting on social media, doing research, or just basically surfing the web.
It’s also suitable for people who intend to download certain files or apps with a small data size.

N50 For 500mb
This is like a big brother to the aforementioned data plan. This data bundle gives you double the data for double the price.
I like this bundle because with 500MB you can do so much more than downloading small files, chatting on social media, or surfing the web.
With 500MB you can download an entire movie or stream a short video and you can also use it to do everything the N25 data plan can do.
Keep in mind that you can repeat any of the 112 am5am data plans. So you can easily subscribe for another N25 or N50 data plan if the first one you bought wasn’t sufficient.
How To Access The Glo N5o For 500mb Night Plan
The process is very similar to the previously mentioned data plan. The only difference is after you’ve passed the “press 7 (night and weekend plan) instead of pressing 1- N25=250MB (12 am – 05 am) you’ll press 2 – N50=500MB for 1 day (12 am-5 am).
And that’s it, it doesn’t get easier than that.
N100 For 1gb
This is the most preferred data plan when compared to the previously mentioned data plans. The main reason why this is the most preferred data plan is not that N100 gives 1GB.
You could easily buy the N25 data plan four times or 50 naira data plan twice to get a similar result. But those data bundles are only valid from 12 am – 4 am.
But if you do purchase an N100 for 1GB, your data bundle will last for five days. Yes, your data bundle will last 12 am-5 am for five consecutive days.
This is why most people who usually don’t have large files to download still opt to subscribe to this data plan because it saves them the stress of subscribing every midnight.
The N100 for 1GB data plan is suitable for high data consumers who download large files, stream long videos, playing online games operate data guzzling apps such as Instagram or Snapchat.

Before you can enjoy night plans on telecommunications networks such as MTN and Airtel, you must migrate from your current tariff. But Glo is quite different as it does not require that you migrate from your current Etisalat tariff to subscribe to their Night plans.
Glo made it easy to subscribe again that same night if you finish your data volume given to you for your Night Plan subscription before 5am.
If you have a normal data subscription already, it will not be tampered with when the night plan or the night and weekend plan takes over at the chosen time.
