Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) has advised President Muhammadu Buhari to direct the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to immediately implement the Supreme Court order.

According to LEADERSHIP, the President to disclose the measures his government is taking to direct the CBN to immediately re-circulate the old N200, N500, and N1,000 notes, as ordered by the Supreme Court.

The Supreme Court recently ordered the apex bank to end the cash withdrawal limits imposed by banks because such restrictions violate citizens’ right to use their property freely.Information Guide Nigeria

SERAP stressed that there is an overriding public interest in disclosing the details of the measures the federal government and the CBN are taking to effectively obey the Supreme Court decision.JAMB Result
