Previously speaking to EnglandFootball.com, Pickford said of the central defender: “Harry is one of my best mates in football and I have played with him throughout my England career so far.”JAMB Result
In a separate interview during the World Cup, he added: “Myself and Harry have a great relationship. The majority of my caps have been with Harry playing in front of me and we work really well together. Our defensive record with Harry playing there is really good as well and he is in a very good moment.”
While United are eyeing a switch for Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat, the Mail claim they have held discussions over Everton midfielder Onana. The Belgium international moved to Goodison Park from Lille a year ago and impressed on Merseyside despite the side’s struggles last season.
A further six first-team squad exits are expected from Old Trafford this month. West Ham’s interest in Maguire and Scott McTominay is well documented, although it is up to the east London club to increase their offers to an acceptable level for United chiefs.
