Speaking to DAILY TRUST newsmen on Tuesday, Abdullahi said they threatened to shoot the boy before robbing him of some money and seized all mobile phones in the house.

“I later managed to untie myself and fled through my neighbour’s house,’’ he said, adding that the robbers left with his car but they were forced to abandon it within the neighbourhood, by the vigilante members from the community who exchanged gunshots with them”.
