The victim, a consultant in Information and Communication Technology, was allegedly murdered at his residence in the Okuta Elerinla neighbourhood of Akure, Ondo State, by unidentified individuals.

The state’s Police Public Relations Officer, Mrs. Funmilayo Odunlami, verified the occurrence and stated that an inquiry had been initiated.

She revealed that the cops discovered the man in a pool of blood and transported him to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Recalling the incident, the eldest son of the deceased, Atinu Adesitimi, said, “My parents were at home that evening when they heard a bang at the gate around 9pm. Under normal circumstances, we were conscious about security after the death of my younger sister.
