According to THE NATION, all banks visited at Oba Adesida road and Alagbaka were under lock and key while customers were seen waiting in front of the banks.

Banks at Ikare-Akoko, Akoko Northeast local government areas were also not open for businesses.
Ikare-Akokos serve as the commercial nerve of the four local government areas in Akokoland.
Traders and farmers who came to Ikare for banking transactions from distant places like Ikakumo Afin, Ipesi Igasi, and Eriall were disappointed as the branches were closed.NYSC portal
Another customer, a businessman identified as Sunday Omogboye, said he came from Ikakumo to collect money.JAMB Result
Omogboye said many people were suffering in the villages due to lack of cash.
Also speaking, a customer in Akure said he was at the bank due to the Supreme Court ruling on the CBN cashless policy and introduction of the New Naira Note.
